Paul Abatemarco joins Stardust as executive producer for West Coast studio

Danny Weisberg started in this business writing screenplays and working behind the camera.  As a director, the most important learning experience in his film history was from renowned DP Victor Kemper, who mentored Danny and "took the time to work with me on a daily basis teaching me the about lens,’ blocking and lighting," states Weisberg.

Weisberg then turned his attention to production, working as a AD for Zack Snyder, Jesse Dylan, Neil Abramson and Jake Scott. Based on  a spec spot he directed while working on one of Zack's productions, the now defunct, The End  signed him.  Later Weisberg joined Orbit Films. While there, his career took off, culminating in a Super Bowl commercial for Oldsmobile, out of Leo Burnett, which subsequently aired during the Academy Awards telecast.  His last roost was at Kaboom Productions.

During his 3 years there, Weisberg directed spots, but also worked with Euro RSCG doing long form projects: 1/2 hour shows for Tropicana and the United States Post Office (which aired on CBS)...he also wrote and directed a short film called "New York To Malibu" which won a gold Remi award at Worldfest film festival in Houston.  Weisberg has directed spots for Blue Cross, Lamkin Golf Grips, TopFlight, Wrigley's, Suzuki, and Buick.

His lastest, yet-to-air project was for UC Davis Health System spot with Y&R/San Francisco.  "Taking the time away from commercial work to do the long form projects," says Weisberg.  "And although fulfilling, made me miss commercial work.  At this time I look forward to rejoining the commercial and New Media world with BeachHouse Films."
