Paul Abatemarco joins Stardust as executive producer for West Coast studio

New York & Los Angeles - (February 19, 2008) - Riot/New York has welcomed Brent Holt as their new Executive Producer. The announcement was made this morning by Riot's Managing Director, Michael Taylor.

"For 2008, we made a pledge to have a dedicated, bi-coastal sales team," explains Taylor. "To follow through with this commitment, Brent began working closely with Matthew McManus, Riot/LA Executive Producer, to gain insight and to build relationships with the west coast team. He then transitioned to Riot/NY; a city where he previously worked for ten years."

Brent Holt brings nearly 20 years of experience to his new role as Executive Producer of Riot/New York. Most recently working as a freelance producer in Los Angeles, Holt returns to New York, where he previously served as Executive Producer of Manic, as well as Brand New School. In addition to his years in the Manhattan marketplace, Holt spent a year as Executive Producer at Little Bull Films in Torino, Italy.

"We are incredibly pleased to have Brent join us," adds D. Todd Davidovich, General Manager for Riot/NY. "The addition of Brent is another example of Riot/NY's commitment to expand by offering creative visual effects to our existing services.  We look forward to a strong 2008."

Prior to joining the production community, Holt served as an agency producer at both Euro RSCG and Ogilvy, both in New York, and The Richards Group in Dallas. During his career, Holt has worked to promote such notable brands as American Express, Toyota, Hershey's, Duracell, and Lavazza Coffee.

"I decided to return to New York because the opportunity at Riot was just too good to pass up," concludes Brent Holt. "Our goal is to continue to provide our clients with high end post-production and finishing services, while also advancing Riot/NY's reputation as a nationally recognized visual effects and cg studio. We have excellent teams in place in New York and in Los Angeles. The facilities are able to collaborate on projects via our digital infrastructure."
